#LoveIs… Each year men, women and their families are joining the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. By walking one mile in high heels these men seek to raise awareness in their community about the serious effects and remediations to men’s sexualized violence against women.
#LoveIs… Todd Endris, 24 year old owner of Monterey Aquarium, was surfing with friends when a 15” shark tried to bite into Todd and his surfboard. After fighting of 3 attempts of the shark to bite into him fully, Todd was becoming weak. At that moment a pod of dolphins came out and formed a protective ring around him, keeping the shark at bay long enough for Todd to catch a wave back to shore and receive emergency first aid from his friend.
#LoveIs… Headteacher Kevin McKellar of Hendon School London dedicated many years of his time to improving this failing school until it became ranked as “outstanding”. He taught classes on Saturdays for children that needed support, refused to give up on a single student and worked endlessly to increase love and respect between students and teachers. #RIP
#LoveIs… Medical student Kailyne Van Stavern teaches South Lyon resident Nolan Harrigan, 6, about an incubator during the Teddy Bear Hospital. Kids like Nolan were able to learn about medical treatments at the event.
The goal of the event was to help children become comfortable with medical staff and procedures, learn about how to stay healthy and fix injured teddy bear patients!

Staff Sgt. Jarrod of the US Air Force and his fellow soldiers stopped everything they were doing to save the life of a tiny kitten during a sandstorm in Iraq.
“Everyone was all about helping her. Seems like people tend to think you turn into some heartless and savage when you deploy into war zones. It’s just not the case for the majority. Everyone I know has pets. It’s no different than seeing a man, woman, or child in need. you just stop and help, it’s the right thing to do,” said Jarrod
